Explore the western part of the Leh by travelling to Lamayuru via many beautiful villages and overwhelming sceneries of majestic mountains of different colours, Landscapes and Monasteries. Also you will enjoy and witness the great Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh.

Itinerary

Arrive at Leh airport. You will be received by a representative of Adventure Ibex and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day rest. O/N Leh.

After the breakfast, drive to visit the Thiksey, Hemis monasteries, 3-Idiot School & Sindhu Ghat. Return to Leh in the evening O/N Leh.

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motor able road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hunder by afternoon. You can have your lunch on your way around at Khalsar or Disket or Khardung village. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight in Hunder at Camp/Resort

After the breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Shayok river. After enjoying around 2hrs at the Lake, drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 17,350ft high.

After breakfast drive for full day sightseeing to the Alchi Monastery build in 11th century by Lo-tsa-wa Rinchen Zangpo. Inside the monastery you can still see the magnificent paintings (All the 32 artist who worked to build monastery are Hindu). Later visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River) Overnight at Leh.
